Question
How can I legally drive after serving my suspension period?
I received 1 year of my drivers license being suspended in Kansas followed by 1 year of an interlock. I currently possess a valid California drivers license, that I received legally before the suspension from Kansas. I would like to know how I can legally drive in California after serving my suspension (1 year from now).LawQA.com Answer Library

If DMV doesn't send you a Suspension Letter you are good to go. Better maske sure they have your current address. If they have been mailing you at that address, you are ok. They will send you a letter if there is a suspension.

First of all, California DMV may not even have caught it. What you need to do is make sure that in a year's time your Kansas status is dealt with properly, because eventually California DMV may be linked up with Kansas DMV, and when they do, California will also take action against your license if the Kansas status shows a suspension.
